Interior Space Transformations

PUA’s Faculty of Arts and Design hosted a workshop titled “Interior Space Transformations in the Modern Era,” supervised by the Student Activities Department. The initiative aimed to enhance students’ architectural awareness and keep pace with contemporary design developments. The workshop focused on the concept of interior space in modern architecture and its direct impact on shaping the user’s spatial experience, tracing its evolution toward patterns that meet contemporary human needs.

The event showcased prominent modern trends, including spatial flexibility, natural lighting, and the integration of smart technology, while emphasizing sustainability and psychological well-being. Participants discussed practical ways to apply these trends to achieve a balance between functionality and aesthetics, ultimately improving the quality of life within architectural spaces. This workshop reflects the Faculty’s commitment to equipping students with modern design tools to provide innovative architectural solutions.
