In a pioneering media and academic move, PUA’s Faculty of Mass Communication produced a
distinguished interview podcast highlighting PUA’s transition into an eco-friendly "Green
Institution." The podcast hosted Prof. Dr. Mohamed Etman, Vice President for Community
Service and Environmental Development Affairs, who detailed the university’s comprehensive
vision aligned with Egypt Vision 2030 to instill a culture of sustainability.
During the interview, Dr. Etman explained that the university is implementing rigorous policies
for energy and water conservation, expanding recycling initiatives, and creating sustainable
green spaces across campus. He emphasized that the ultimate goal is to nurture an "Eco-
conscious Generation" capable of addressing climate change challenges through continuous
workshops and awareness events. This initiative reflects PUA’s commitment as an educational
