Driven by PUA’s commitment to promoting preventive health standards and ensuring a safe educational and clinical environment, the Community Service and Environmental Development Center (CSED), in partnership with the Faculty of Dentistry, hosted a specialized awareness day on Infection Control. The event aimed to instill essential preventive practices in future dentists through a dynamic blend of education and engagement.
The awareness day stood out for its innovative approach, moving beyond traditional methods to include interactive activities simplifying sterilization and prevention concepts, and educational games, specifically designed to simulate clinical scenarios, enhancing students’ adherence to safety protocols. Also, the event featured practical insights focusing on the critical importance of protecting both patients and practitioners within medical work environments and the faculty’s educational clinics.
The event witnessed high student engagement and positive feedback, highlighting the effectiveness of delivering technical information through creative methods. CSED reaffirmed that such initiatives are integral to PUA’s strategic plan to support medical faculties in producing qualified professionals who prioritize community safety and preventive excellence, ultimately enhancing the quality of both education and healthcare services.
