In a humanitarian gesture reflecting the spirit of cooperation and solidarity, the “Khair Team” student group, in collaboration with PUA’s Student Activities Department, held a charity food market. This noble event aimed to provide a wide range of essential consumer goods to the university’s staff at symbolic prices, as part of the university’s ongoing efforts to support social solidarity and enhance its leading role in community service and the welfare of its employees.
The market was officially inaugurated by Prof. Dr. Mohamed Etman, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, who toured the market stalls and inspected the quality of the food items on display. During his visit, he praised the tangible efforts of the “Khair Team” students and the Student Activities Department, commending their proactive and effective role in organizing such community events. He emphasized that these initiatives help alleviate living costs and instill values of giving and social responsibility among the student body.
This initiative is part of PUA’s strategy to strengthen humanitarian ties within the campus, reflecting the dedication of both the administration and students to presenting successful models of volunteer work. Furthermore, the event underscores the importance of combining student efforts with university management to launch service-oriented initiatives that leave a significant positive impact, contributing to a cohesive university environment built on mutual support and appreciation for all staff members within the institution.
