PUA’s Faculty of Languages and Translation hosted its Orientation Day for new students. The event was attended by key university leaders: Prof. Dr. Mohamed Gaber Abou Ali, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Etman, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Osama Madany, Dean of the Faculty. Dr. Nehal Hafez, a member of the Community Service Center, supervised the event.
The program featured welcoming speeches from the Vice Presidents and the Dean, who underscored the vital role of the faculty’s students in community service and engaging with diverse cultures. They emphasized the university’s commitment to providing a holistic educational environment that contributes to developing students’ academic and research capabilities.
Students were also introduced to the university’s various departments, followed by an orientation tour within the faculty to familiarize them with the available facilities and services. These steps aim to help the students integrate into university life from day one.
