As part of the specialized activities of the third environmental campaign, “Green Pharos”, the Community Service and Environmental Development Center (CSED), in collaboration with PUA’s Faculty of Engineering, held a professional lecture titled “Sustainability in Architecture”. The session aimed to shape a new engineering vision among students, placing the conservation of natural resources at the forefront of contemporary architectural design.
The lecture addressed the pivotal role of sustainable architecture in reducing carbon footprints and the harmful environmental impacts of buildings, while reviewing the latest global trends in energy efficiency and resource management. Organizers emphasized that encouraging students to adopt innovative solutions in “Green Building” is a fundamental step toward achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), ensuring the preparation of engineers capable of constructing smart, eco-friendly cities in line with Egypt’s future vision.
