PUA’s Faculty of Arts and Design, through PUA’s International Relations Department, welcomed a delegation from Accademia Della Moda, IUAD in Italy. The delegation included Dr. Giovanni Maione, Senior Architect and Academic Professor at IUAD, and Dr. Margherita Matera, Marketing Manager, Digital Communication Strategic Consultant, and Academic Professor at the same university. This visit aims to strengthen academic cooperation, cultural exchange, and international collaboration.
The opening session saw the presence of PUA’s Vice Presidents, underscoring institutional support for this initiative. Attendees included:

- Dr. Alaa El-Din Ramadan, Vice President for Education and Students Affairs
- Dr. Mohamed Gaber, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research

- Dr. Zeinab Demerdash, Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Design
- Prof. Dr. Menatallah Gowayed, Director of PUA’s International Relations Department
- Maya Farid, Faculty’s International Relations Coordinator
Following the opening session, the delegation toured the faculty’s facilities and various departments, expressing their admiration for the available equipment and capabilities. This coincided with the launch of specialized workshops organized by the Décor Department in collaboration with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Salma Youssef, Coordinator of the Interior Design Program.
Additionally, the Fashion Design Department held workshops in cooperation with Prof. Dr. Karama Thabet, Head of the Department, and Dr. Marwa Eissa, Coordinator of the Fashion Design Program. These workshops aim to exchange expertise and enhance practical skills between both sides, emphasizing the faculty’s commitment to integrating international expertise into its educational programs.
