“Reuse It” Competition Resumed

As part of its third environmental campaign named “Green Pharos”, the Green Pharos Committee, in collaboration with PUA’s Faculty of Applied Health Sciences Technology, resumed the events of “Reuse It” Competition. The competition was one of the campaign activities aimed at fostering a culture of sustainability and encouraging students to recycle and innovate in the use of available environmental resources, as part of the University’s pursuit of establishing the concept of a Green University and achieving sustainable development goals.

The competition was supervised by Prof. Dr. Samy Erfan, Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Hamdy El-Wakil, Vice Dean, Dr. Ahmed El-Khoulnay, Faculty’s Community Service Center member and Dr. Alaa Hegazy, Faculty’s Green Pharos representative. The student entries were distinguished by creative innovations that transformed used materials into useful tools and artworks reflecting advanced environmental awareness. At the conclusion of the event, the owners of the best projects were honored with certificates of appreciation in recognition of their efforts and creativity in supporting the University’s vision for a more sustainable future.
