Prof. Dr. Mohamed Etman, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, hosted Sheikh Dr. Khalid bin Mohamed Al Khalifa, from the ruling family of the Kingdom of Bahrain and Chairman of the Board of Trustees and Founding President of University College Bahrain (UCB). Sheikh Dr. Khalid was accompanied by Dr. Nabil Moaz, General Coordinator for Egyptian Universities in GCC countries, and Counselor Yasser Nabil Saad, Secretary-General of the Egyptian Foundation for Consultations. Dr. Mohamed Badawi, Director of the Training Unit at PUA’s Faculty of Legal Studies and International Transactions, also attended the meeting.

This visit aimed to explore avenues of scientific and community cooperation between the two institutions. Attendees discussed opportunities for joint collaboration to enhance education quality and serve the interests of students in both brotherly countries. This visit reaffirms the deep-rooted relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Arab Republic of Egypt, and both institutions’ commitment to strengthening fruitful cooperation in education.

The visitors expressed their great pleasure with the visit and their admiration for the academic and institutional development witnessed within the university. They conveyed optimism about the possibility of building an effective partnership between UCB and PUA, contributing to higher education across the region.
