The event was supervised by Prof. Dr. Samy Erfan, Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Hamdy Badi’a, Vice Dean of the Faculty, and Dr. Ahmed Salah, Member of the Faculty’s Community Service Center. The event witnessed wide participation from students and faculty members and included several engaging activities, notably free blood sugar level measurement and the distribution of healthy meals to raise awareness about the importance of proper nutrition in diabetes prevention and management.

The event also featured presentations of educational posters and flyers distributed to attendees, containing simplified information about the causes, symptoms, and prevention methods of the disease, in addition to daily health guidelines to help reduce its risks. This initiative aligns with CSED’s mission to support public health within the University and enhance the educational role of students and faculty members in combating chronic diseases.
