Promising Researches for Burns and Obesity Treatment

PUA’s Faculty of Pharmacy hosted a scientific meeting organized by the Department of Pharmaceutics & Pharmaceutical Technology to showcase the department’s latest research developments. The event was held under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Maged Elghazouly, Dean of the Faculty, supervised by Prof. Dr. Rasha Shaalan, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research, and organized by Prof. Dr. Ragwa Farid, Head of the Department.
The meeting featured two significant research presentations by Teaching Assistants Nada Magdy and Lobna Khalil. Nada Magdy presented innovative solutions for enhancing the healing of burn-induced wounds, while Lobna Khalil discussed the development of a novel topical drug delivery system aimed at managing obesity and cellulite.
The event saw active participation from faculty members and teaching assistants, who enriched the discussions with their insightful contributions.
