In a heartwarming gesture reflecting compassion and social responsibility, PUA’s Faculty of Pharmacy organized a visit to the Children’s Cancer Hospital in Borg El Arab. Held under the supervision of the Student Activities Department, the visit aimed to provide psychological and emotional support to the young heroes, sharing moments of joy and optimism with them.
The visit was thoughtfully organized, with students divided into two teams to maximize their impact. The first group visited the hospital rooms, distributing gifts and toys to the resident children, creating an atmosphere of warmth and comfort. Simultaneously, the second group organized a mini-party in the hospital’s common area, featuring entertainment activities, gift distribution, and face painting, which brought bright smiles to the children’s faces.
This initiative had a profound positive impact on the children and their families, helping to alleviate the challenges of their treatment journey and filling their hearts with happiness and satisfaction. The Faculty reaffirms that such events are integral to its mission of preparing pharmacists who possess not only scientific expertise but also a spirit of humanitarian giving, believing that emotional well-being is a fundamental pillar of the healing process.
