Pharmacology and Therapeutics Department Honours its Staff
In a gesture of appreciation reflecting a spirit of collaboration and excellence, the Pharmacology and Therapeutics Department at PUA’s Faculty of Pharmacy in Alexandria organized an innovative social initiative titled “Your Effort is Appreciated.” The initiative aimed to strengthen ties of cooperation and affection among department members and recognize the exceptional efforts made by faculty and teaching assistants in developing the educational process during the Spring 2024-2025 semester.
The recognition covered multiple categories:
- Developing the Educational Process: Honourees included T. A. Maram Yasser, Pharmacist Barbara Boutros, and Pharmacist Mariam Gawad.
- Developing Departmental Courses: This recognition included the Biochemistry courses team, represented by Prof. Dr. Hend Hussein, Asst. Prof. Enas Massoud, and Dr. Randa Elshazly.
- Introducing International Lectures: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Menatallah Gowayed was honored.
- Self-Development: Prof. Dr. Hend Hussein was honored.
- International Publishing (Lecturers’ Category): Dr. Ghada Osama was honored.
- Administrative and Quality Assurance Work: Honourees Dr. Mohamed Amin, T. A. Maram Yasser, and T. A. Shorouk Sherif.
This recognition was more than just a symbolic gesture; it aimed to motivate performance and boost morale, which positively impacts the quality of work and innovation within the faculty. Appreciating efforts contributes to increased productivity, improved educational and research processes, and enhanced institutional belonging.
The initiative was well-received by the honourees and attendees, who expressed their immense happiness with the positive and appreciative atmosphere that prevailed. Further, the Dean of the Faculty emphasized the great importance of such events in building an integrated academic community that supports innovation, fosters cooperation, and encourages continuous excellence in academic and administrative performance.
