In line with the efforts of PUA’s International Relations Department to foster academic and cultural cooperation with international educational institutions, the Faculty of Languages and Translation signed a partnership protocol with the Spanish Cultural Institute, “Instituto Cervantes.” This protocol aims to support Spanish language education and promote cultural exchange between the two parties.
The signing ceremony was attended by high-ranking officials from PUA:
- Dr. Mahmoud Mohieldin, PUA’s President.
- Dr. Nourhan Fanaki, Vice President for Educational Process Monitoring and Quality Assurance.
- Dr. Mohamed Gaber Abou Ali, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research.
- Dr. Osama Madani, Dean of the Faculty of Languages and Translation.
- Prof. Dr. Menatallah Gowayed, Director of the International Relations Department.
Representing Instituto Cervantes at the signing ceremony were:
- Jose Manuel, Director of Cervantes Institutes.
- Fawzia Kamel, Director of Instituto Cervantes in Alexandria.
Both parties emphasized the importance of this collaboration in opening new horizons for students to learn Spanish according to the highest international standards, in addition to organizing joint cultural events and training programs.
This agreement is a testament to the efforts of the International Relations Department and the Faculty of Languages and Translation in building strategic partnerships with prestigious educational and cultural institutions. It aligns with PUA’s vision to embrace global engagement and provide a multicultural educational environment that meets the demands of the job market.
