As part of its third environmental campaign named “Green Pharos”, and within its efforts to support initiatives aimed at spreading environmental awareness, PUA’s Community Service and Environmental Development Center (CSED) participated in organizing an awareness lecture at the Faculty of Engineering titled “Landscaping in Architecture”.
The lecture was presented by Dr. Fathy El Naggar, Landscaping Consultant and Expert, where he reviewed—from an environmental and developmental perspective—the importance of integrating green spaces and natural elements into modern architecture and their role in improving the quality of life within urban communities. He also addressed the impact of landscaping in supporting sustainability, reducing pollution, and improving the local climate in urban environments.
The event was supervised by Prof. Dr. Ramadan Abdel Maksoud, Academic Supervisor of the Architectural Engineering Department, and Dr. Bakinam Nabil, Faculty’s Green Pharos Representative, with full cooperation from CSED, which continues its support for activities that enhance environmental culture and serve the sustainable development goals within the University.
