As part of international cooperation, PUA’s International Relations Department, in collaboration with PUA’s Faculty of Pharmacy, hosted Dr. Dzul Azri Mohamed Noor from the University of Sciences, Malaysia (USM). This hosting came through a signed agreement between the two universities. Dr. Azri conducted workshops for senior students in the Clinical Pharmacy Department titled “Inter-professional Collaboration in Healthcare”. During these workshops, students trained on how to work and communicate with healthcare providers to achieve optimal treatment for each patient individually.
During the workshop days, the visiting doctor met with Prof. Dr. Alaa Ramadan, PUA’s Vice President, Prof. Dr. Maged El-Ghazouly, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, as well as Assoc. Prof. Dr. Menatallah Gowayed, Director of the International Relations. All emphasized the importance of holding such international workshops to ensure the excellence of the pharmacy graduates locally and internationally. In addition, Dr. Dzul Azri expressed his admiration for the facilities and equipment available at the Faculty of Pharmacy and the distinction of students in the Clinical Pharmacy Department, which underscores the faculty’s standing in the international academic landscape.
