Prof. Dr. Mohamed Etman, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, represented the university at the 2nd IEEE International Conference on Machine Intelligence and Smart Innovation (ICMISI 2025), held from May 10 to 12, 2025, at the main campus of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology & Maritime Transport in Alexandria, Egypt.
This prestigious international conference serves as a platform for exchanging knowledge and results in fields such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, cybersecurity, the Internet of Things, quantum computing, smart energy, and sustainable technologies. The conference attracted over 500 participants from 25 countries and featured approximately 120 research papers, reflecting global interest in the topics discussed.
The program included 21 international speakers from renowned universities and research centers, adding significant scientific value to the event. The conference is sponsored by IEEE, the world’s largest technical professional organization, further enhancing its international standing.
