In a first for Chinese language departments in Egyptian universities, PUA’s Faculty of Languages and Translation has signed a dual Bachelor’s degree articulation agreement (2+2) with Shandong Normal University in China. This move aims to bolster international academic cooperation.

Under this articulation agreement, students will spend their first two years of study in the Chinese Language Department at PUA, then complete their third and fourth years at Shandong Normal University in China. This program intends to provide students with an in-depth educational and cultural experience in both countries.

The signing ceremony, held at PUA, was attended by a high-level delegation from Shandong Normal University, including the Advisor and President of Shandong Normal University, as well as the Consul General of the People’s Republic of China in Alexandria. On the other hand, PUA’s delegation included the University President, Vice Presidents, Dean of the Faculty of Languages and Translation, PUA’ Secretary-General, the Director of PUA’s International Relations Department, along with faculty members and students from the Chinese Language Department at the Faculty of Languages and Translation.

This agreement reflects PUA’s commitment to providing world-class educational opportunities for its students and fostering cultural and academic exchange with prestigious international institutions.
