Driven by its commitment to enhancing cultural awareness and developing student skills, the Student Activities Department at PUA’s Faculty of Tourism and Hotel Management held a vibrant event titled “Guess the Country from Image & Dish”. The competition took place in an interactive and fun-filled atmosphere, where students were challenged to identify world countries based on their iconic landmarks and traditional cuisines. This activity effectively contributed to expanding their geographical and touristic knowledge while deepening their understanding of global culinary cultures.

The Student Activities Department emphasized that this initiative is part of its strategic plan to support purposeful activities that blend learning with entertainment (Edutainment). Such events aim to sharpen rapid thinking and teamwork skills while fostering cultural diversity awareness. Furthermore, the department highlighted the importance of tourism as a bridge for communication between nations, preparing students as future tourism professionals with a global perspective on international cultures and cuisines, essential for the global hospitality and tourism market.
