Alexandria – As part of its continuous efforts to support and prepare new students for university life, the Faculty of Engineering at Pharos University organized its Orientation Day for its newly admitted students, with the attendance and participation of an elite group of university leaders.
The event was held under the supervision of Professor Dr. Nourhan Fanaki, Vice President for Educational Process Monitoring and Quality Assurance, the Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Mohamed Naeem, Vice Dean, and Dr. Alaa Khalil, PUA’s Student Activities Coordinator, alongside faculty members and several senior students.
The day featured comprehensive presentations that covered Faculty’s programs and academic regulations, to enable students to clearly understand their educational path. It also highlighted the Student activities and available opportunities for developing students’ skills and refining their engineering expertise.
The event also included motivating speeches. Top-ranking students delivered a welcoming address to their new colleagues, and the Ideal Male and Female Students shared their experiences in the faculty, encouraging new students to strive for excellence and active participation in all aspects of university life.
The program concluded with a guided tour of the faculty departments, during which new students had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the college’s facilities and academic environment, ensuring their integration into university life from day one.
