In line with PUA’s commitment to delivering exceptional academic education, the Faculty of Engineering organized the annual “Scientific Day” for the Electrical Engineering Department. The event witnessed a significant turnout from department heads, faculty members, and students across various academic levels.
The event commenced with a recitation from the Holy Quran, followed by a presentation from Prof. Dr. Mohamed Hamdy, Head of the Electrical Engineering Department, who highlighted the department’s key achievements for the 2024-2025 academic year. These accomplishments included laboratory enhancements, organization of scientific seminars featuring industry experts, and student graduation projects participating in both national and international competitions, many of which secured top rankings and financial support.
Further, Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Meligy, Dean of the Faculty, delivered a speech commending the department’s performance and expressing his satisfaction with the milestones achieved. The event also featured insightful lectures on entrepreneurship and preparing graduates for the job market, presented by distinguished specialists in their respective fields.
Concluding the day, the faculty honored several prominent figures in education and academic development, alongside recognizing top-performing students and those excelling in extracurricular activities, reflecting the faculty’s dedication to fostering academic and professional excellence among its students.
