Early Detection of Chronic Diseases and Tumors

PUA’s Faculty of Dentistry hosted the presidential initiative team for the early detection of chronic diseases and kidney failure, driven by PUA’s Community Service and Environmental Development Center’s (CSED) commitment to national health initiatives. The activities featured a package of specialized initiatives, including Women’s Health Support and Early Detection of Cancerous Tumors, providing medical examinations and awareness sessions on the importance of proactive diagnosis and its role in increasing recovery rates and improving quality of life.

The initiative saw broad participation from faculty members, teaching assistants, nursing staff, and the administrative body, in an atmosphere of cooperation and public health responsibility. This step reinforces PUA’s social role in supporting state efforts to upgrade the healthcare system and achieve sustainable development goals. Participants praised the joint coordination between the faculty administration and the presidential initiatives team, emphasizing the central role of such events in spreading preventive culture and establishing periodic screening practices within the university community.
