Dr. Mennatallah Gowayed Wins the “Women Leadership in Education” Award
In a global academic achievement that highlights the prominence of Egyptian women in international forums, Pharos University in Alexandria (PUA) proudly announces that Dr. Mennatallah Adel Gowayed, Associate Professor at the Faculty of Pharmacy and Director of the International Relations Department, has been honored with the prestigious “Women Leadership in Education” award. This recognition is part of the International Educational Awards (LEAP 2025), presented by the London School of Digital Business (LSDB) in the United Kingdom.
Dr. Gowayed received this award in recognition of her exceptional leadership in strengthening international academic relations and her pivotal role in empowering women within the educational sector. The significance of this honor is underscored by the fact that she was one of only 15 women selected globally for the Women Leadership category, within an international competition featuring 48 winners from over 70 countries competing across 24 different categories. This reflects the high international regard for her role in elevating institutional excellence and supporting women’s leadership on a global scale.
PUA celebrates this achievement as an honorable model for its female academic staff, reaffirming its steadfast commitment to supporting women in leadership and fostering an environment for academic innovation. Dr. Gowayed’s victory serves as an international tribute to Egyptian and Arab women, proving their capacity to lead the transformation in higher education and academic internationalization.
