Bridges Between Bibliotheca Alexandrina and Asilah City
As part of its mission to promote cultural diplomacy and foster cooperation across the Arab world, Pharos University in Alexandria (PUA), represented by Dr. Noha Badr, CSED’s Executive Director, participated in the Egyptian-Moroccan Cultural Forum. The forum, titled “Cultural Work Between the Official and the Civil: Bridges Between Bibliotheca Alexandrina and the City of Asilah,” was a strategic collaboration between the Center for Strategic Studies at Bibliotheca Alexandrina and the Mediterranean Youth Forum in the Kingdom of Morocco.
Dr. Noha was accompanied by a distinguished student delegation, a move designed to engage youth directly in dialogues regarding identity, digital citizenship, and the future of Arab soft power. This participation provided students with a prime opportunity to interact with prominent experts from Egypt and Morocco, refining their cultural awareness and equipping them with contemporary intellectual discourse tools.
PUA reaffirms that this involvement reflects its vision that education transcends the classroom, embracing interactive cultural learning. The active engagement of PUA students in such national forums adds significant value to building an educated generation that values shared Arab heritage and contributes effectively to an advanced knowledge-based future, supported by strong ties between official institutions and civil society.
