PUA’s Faculty of Applied Health Sciences Technology organized a vibrant sports day under the supervision of its Student Activities Department, drawing enthusiastic participation from students in activities such as football matches marked by competitive yet sportsmanlike spirit. Activities also included basketball tournaments showcasing students’ physical and tactical skills, and recreational sessions to strengthen peer connections.

Dr. Israa Mounir, the faculty’s Student Activities Coordinator, attended the event, praising the “positive energy and exceptional teamwork among participants” and expressing hopes to “host regular events that bridge academic rigor with physical and mental well-being.”

Students lauded the initiative, calling it “a refreshing break from classroom routines that strengthened our camaraderie.” Many emphasized the need to integrate such activities into the academic calendar to balance study and leisure.
