In alignment with the goals of its third environmental campaign “Green Pharos”, and the leading role of PUA’s Community Service and Environmental Development Center (CSED), the Faculty of Applied Health Sciences Technology hosted a comprehensive awareness lecture to commemorate World Water Day. The event aimed to reinforce awareness of water as a fundamental pillar of human health and societal stability, emphasizing the urgent need for conservation and sustainable consumption.

The lecture covered critical scientific and preventative topics, including the risks of “Water Poisoning” and its negative impact on public health. It also reviewed modern purification methods and scientific standards to ensure water quality and safety. This initiative underscores PUA’s commitment to supporting Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and its dedication to fostering a generation of environmentally conscious students capable of addressing contemporary climate and health challenges through social responsibility.
