Afforestation Campaign: Tourism and Hotel Management

As part of the 3rd “Green Pharos” environmental campaign, PUA’s Faculty of Tourism and Hotel Management participated an afforestation campaign at the university nursery, with extensive student participation.

The Community Service Center emphasized that this campaign aims to deepen environmental awareness among students and connect them with sustainable practices that have become a global cornerstone of the tourism and hospitality sector. Additionally, the initiative sought to foster a spirit of teamwork and collaboration through field participation in planting seedlings and receiving practical guidance on plant care.

Students enthusiastically contributed to beautifying the campus, reflecting the faculty’s role in promoting a culture of sustainability. This initiative prepares graduates to adopt and apply green environmental standards in their future career paths, ultimately supporting the growth of eco-friendly and sustainable tourism.
