Afforestation Campaign: Applied Health Sciences Technology
Within the framework of its 3rd environmental campaign, “Green Pharos,” PUA’s Faculty of Applied Health Sciences Technology conducted an afforestation campaign at the university nursery under the supervision of Dr. Alaa Hegazy.
The Community Service Center emphasized that this initiative aims to instill environmental stewardship in students and bridge the gap between academic knowledge and field practice, while fostering a spirit of teamwork and proactive community engagement. Students enthusiastically participated in planting seedlings and learning scientific maintenance techniques, effectively deepening their awareness of environmental preservation as a fundamental pillar of public health and preventive care.
This event underscores the faculty’s commitment to preparing graduates who recognize the vital link between environmental integrity and the quality of technical healthcare.
