A Visit to Zohour Al-Hayat Orphanage
In a heartwarming gesture that embodies the values of giving and social responsibility, engineering students from the MET Group visited the “Zohour Al-Hayat” Orphanage. Held under the supervision of the Student Activities Department, the visit highlighted the role of university youth in supporting vulnerable groups and building bridges of human connection.
The day was filled with a festive and joyful atmosphere, as students dedicated their time to engaging with the children through various activities, including distributing gifts and toys to bringing smiles and happiness to the children’s hearts. It also featured interactive group games that created an environment of fun and laughter. Also, psychological support was given attention through engaging in friendly interactions to foster a sense of belonging and solidarity.
This initiative aimed to instill the values of volunteering and social responsibility within engineering students, encouraging them to look beyond their academic studies toward meaningful community engagement. The children expressed immense joy during the visit, showcasing the students’ success in leaving a positive impact and presenting an honorable model of PUA’s commitment to humanitarian initiatives.
