A Field Visit to Sawary Project in Alexandria

PUA’s Architectural Engineering Department relentlessly seeks to develop its students’ imaginative and creative abilities, as well as to help them connect architectural design theories with real-world implementation. Accordingly, the Department organized a field visit for the its senior students (9th semester students) to Sawary Project in Alexandria. This visit came withing the requirements of EA511 Architectural Design 7 Course.
Supervised by Prof. Dr. Ghada Raghib, course instructor along with Eng. Rodina Mohamed, Eng. Medhat Ayad, and Eng. Esraa Gamal, Teaching Assistants, the students began their visit with a tour accompanied by Eng. Ahmed El-Sayed, Project Manager of Towers 6 Complex. Further, the students learned about the spaces and areas of each of the units offered in the towers, and how to connect the basic elements of the interior spaces, and combine them to create a comfortable and livable interior environment without causing any problems for users. Additionally, they learned about the most important components of the residential units and the main services provided by the residential projects.
