In line with its national and diplomatic responsibility, PUA’s Faculty of Legal Studies and International Transactions organized a symposium titled “The Egyptian Role in Supporting the Palestinian Cause.” The keynote speaker, Dr. Mohamed Atallah—an official at the State Information Service (SIS)—highlighted Egypt’s long-standing and ongoing efforts in supporting the Palestinian cause, reaffirming the country’s unwavering stance in defending the rights of the Palestinian people on regional and international platforms.

The Dean of the Faculty opened the event with a speech emphasizing the importance of engaging with developments in Palestine from a humanitarian, ethical, and legal perspective. He underscored that the Palestinian issue is not merely a political matter but fundamentally a human rights concern, one that requires global solidarity and international cooperation to achieve justice.

The symposium explored various aspects of Egypt’s supportive role, including its political stances and diplomatic initiatives amid current regional and global challenges. It also examined potential avenues for strengthening this role in the future, particularly in light of shifting geopolitical dynamics.

The event witnessed significant interaction from attendees, featuring in-depth discussions on the role of youth in advocating for the Palestinian cause and the critical function of international law in safeguarding Palestinian rights.

The symposium concluded with a word of appreciation to Dr. Mohamed Atallah for his insightful contribution. The Faculty reiterated its commitment to promoting awareness of the Palestinian cause within academic and youth communities, recognizing this engagement as a key pillar in fostering understanding and long-term advocacy for justice.
