Talent Discovery Day
Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Mohamed Etman, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and under the supervision of the Student Activities Department, PUA held an extensive artistic show to gather students from various faculties participating in different activities, as part of PUA’s preparations to launch its talent competition events.
The event aimed to showcase and evaluate the outstanding artistic talents among university students in the fields of singing, music, acting, visual arts, poetry, instrumental performance, and other creative arts. This reflects PUA’s commitment to supporting and developing its students’ abilities across various fields of artistic and cultural creativity.
During the event, a committee of specialists in artistic activities selected the best talented individuals to represent the University in the annual Pharos University Talent Show. Numerous distinguished students were also nominated to participate in the “Ebda’a” (Creativity) competition at the level of Egyptian universities, which is one of the largest university competitions sponsored by the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
The Student Activities Department affirmed that this event is part of PUA’s vision to nurture its gifted and creative students, provide them with the opportunity to express their artistic potential, and foster a spirit of positive competition among them. This contributes to preparing a generation of conscious and creative youth capable of representing their university and nation in various cultural and artistic forums.
