In a step aimed at merging handicraft skills with modern artistic vision, PUA’s Student Activities Department held a specialized workshop to teach the Art of Decoupage at the Faculty of Arts and Design. The event introduced students to the secrets of this ancient craft, which involves cutting and pasting decorative paper images onto various surfaces—such as wood and glass—and finishing them with special varnishes to create a unique artistic look.

The workshop saw great enthusiasm from students who participated in a full hands-on experience, from selecting designs to applying the final touches. This event is part of the Student Activities Department’s strategy to diversify artistic workshops, refining students’ manual talents and opening new horizons for creativity and innovation. This aligns with the university’s vision of preparing graduates who possess both academic knowledge and exceptional craftsmanship.
