Guided by its commitment to supporting students with special needs and nurturing exceptional talents, PUA celebrated student-champion Mohamed Ahmed Abdel Raouf. This recognition celebrates his outstanding athletic achievement and his excellence on the table tennis courts. The ceremony was held under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Mohamed Etman, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, who emphasized the importance of celebrating such inspiring role models.
This honoring follows the student’s remarkable achievement in securing Second Place and the Silver Medal in the Egypt Cup for Table Tennis (Academic Year 2025/2026), organized by the Egyptian Sports Federation for Intellectual Disabilities. This victory reflects the student’s strong will and determination, establishing him as a distinguished ambassador for the university in national sports arenas.
During the ceremony, Dr. Etman reaffirmed that PUA prioritizes the care and development of students with special needs, noting that disability is never a barrier to creativity or championship. He further stated that the university remains dedicated to providing full academic and moral support to its student-athletes, believing in the power of sports to build character and boost self-confidence, while reinforcing the values of inclusion and empowerment within the campus community.
