Recognizing “National Visual Identity” Winners

In a celebration of national creative excellence, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Etman, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, honored students Haneen Yusry Ahmed and Reem Gamal Maqboul from the Faculty of Arts and Design. This recognition follows their prestigious achievement in winning first place in the national competition to design the visual identity logo for Egyptian University Sports.

The ceremony, held at the Vice President’s office in the presence of Dean Prof. Dr. Maha Darwish, highlighted the students’ exceptional talent in crafting a visual symbol that represents the future of university athletics in Egypt. Dr. Etman emphasized that this victory is the fruit of an academic environment that fosters innovation and encourages students to excel in national and international arenas.

The event also included a special tribute to Dr. Shaimaa Khodair, a faculty member, in recognition of her pivotal supervisory role and efforts in refining the students’ artistic skills. PUA reaffirms that this achievement underscores the Faculty’s role as a center of expertise, contributing significantly to the Egyptian national visual identity through the hands of its creative youth.
