“Ramadan Giving” Convoy Reaches Al-Istiqrar Association

As part of its noble social mission, PUA’s Community Service and Environmental Development Center (CSED) launched an extensive campaign to distribute “Ramadan Bags” to underprivileged families at the “Al-Istiqrar” Association in the Toshka area of Abdel Qader. This initiative saw vital participation from the Faculties of Financial and Administrative Sciences, and (Tourism and Hotel Management, reflecting the synergy of the university’s sectors in serving the most vulnerable areas.

The convoy was characterized by precise logistical organization, where students actively contributed to the packing and distribution processes, embodying a practical model of active citizenship and social responsibility among the youth.

Prof. Dr. Mohamed Etman, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, emphasized that these initiatives are a cornerstone of PUA’s strategy to instill values of solidarity. Meanwhile, Dr. Noha Badr, CSED’s Executive Director, noted that the campaign aims to provide tangible support to alleviate the burdens on families ahead of the Holy Month. This convoy reaffirms PUA’s role as a genuine partner in community development, blending its academic role with its humanitarian duty toward the Alexandrian community.
