PUA’s Media Students Train at EMPC

Under the supervision of PUA’s Field Training Center, led by Prof. Dr. Mohamed Etman, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, numerous students from the Faculty of Mass Communication participated in a specialized training program at the Egyptian Media Production City (EMPC) in Cairo, one of the largest media hubs in the Arab world.

This training aims to enable students to have direct exposure to the real-world media environment. They gained insight into the operational mechanisms of satellite channels, filming studios, and editing and directing units. The program also provided students with the opportunity to attend specialized workshops in content preparation, presenting, directing, photography, and sound engineering.

The students showed great enthusiasm for this experience, describing it as “unique.” It provided them with a chance to practically apply their academic studies and acquire real professional skills, enabling them to enter the media job market with competence and confidence.
