PUA’s Media Participates in the Immersive Media Conference

Reflecting the faculty’s commitment to the latest technological advancements in the media field, Prof. Dr. Naela Emara, Dean of PUA’s Faculty of Mass Communication, participated in the scientific conference titled “Immersive Media in the Digital Environment: Opportunities and Challenges”, organized by the Canadian International College (CIC). The conference explored the horizons of using augmented and virtual reality technologies in crafting media content, reviewing the radical shifts imposed by the digital environment on audience interaction and the professional ethics challenges inherent in these advanced technologies.

During her participation, the Dean expressed her deep appreciation to the conference organizers for their gracious invitation, praising the high level of organization and the scientific efforts aimed at envisioning the future of digital media. She emphasized that the Faculty’s keenness to participate in such international forums strengthens scientific communication with major academic institutions. Furthermore, it opens broad horizons for exchanging expertise and knowledge among researchers and specialists, ensuring the integration of Immersive Media concepts into the faculty’s research and training pathways to keep pace with the requirements of the new digital age.
