The Ministry of Youth and Sports officially announced that Ziad Mohamed Mohamed Mahmoud, a student at the Faculty of Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence, has qualified for the final stages of the “Ebdaa 14” Festival for university youth, specifically in the category of Religious Chanting and Hymns. Held under the distinguished patronage of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, this national festival highlights the state’s commitment to nurturing creative youth.
This achievement was made possible through the dedicated supervision and support of the University’s Student Activities Department, which has been instrumental in fostering Ziad’s talent. The final competitions are scheduled to take place on January 27 and 28, 2026, at the Youth City in Abu Qir, Alexandria. According to the official schedule, participants will be received on January 26, with departures set for the morning of January 29, 2026, following the conclusion of the event.
The qualification of Ziad—a student specializing in cutting-edge technology—underscores PUA’s vision of developing a well-rounded student personality. This approach harmonizes scientific excellence and AI expertise with artistic and spiritual creativity. The university community extends its best wishes to Ziad for the final rounds, reaffirming its ongoing support for students who represent the university at prestigious national platforms.
