PUA Participates in the Cairo International Book Fair
In a major cultural event reflecting the university’s dedication to intellectual growth, Pharos University in Alexandria (PUA) has announced its official participation in the 57th Cairo International Book Fair. Held under the distinguished patronage of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi at the Egypt International Exhibition Center in New Cairo, the fair runs from January 21 to February 3, 2026.
This year, PUA’s delegation features a prominent group of approximately 100 students and faculty members representing all twelve of the university’s faculties. Organized and supervised by the Student Activities Department, the visit aims to broaden students’ horizons, encouraging them to engage with global cultural movements and explore the latest scientific and literary publications. Such initiatives are vital for developing well-rounded students who are informed, cultured, and prepared to face contemporary challenges.
By maintaining a consistent presence at this international forum, PUA reaffirms its steadfast commitment to its educational and enlightening mission. The university strives to extend learning beyond the classroom into the realms of thought and creativity. Investing in the cultural literacy of students remains a core strategy for PUA to prepare a generation capable of effectively contributing to societal progress and national development, rooted in the belief that reading is the true bridge to excellence and innovation.
