Driven by its commitment to enhancing students’ mental capabilities and strategic planning skills, PUA’s Student Activities Department held the Annual Chess Tournament, featuring participants from various faculties. The tournament witnessed intense competition marked by high levels of concentration and sportsmanship, reflecting the intellectual passion of the university community.

A total of 12 students participated in the tournament, competing under the Knockout System. The event was characterized by excellent organization and full supervision by the Student Activities Department, ensuring a professional environment that allowed competitors to showcase their analytical thinking and tactical skills. Through this championship, PUA reaffirms that student activities are an essential supplement to the academic process, as chess helps refine students’ personalities and prepares them to make well-thought-out decisions in their future professional lives.
