As part of PUA’s endeavor to enhance environmental awareness and encourage student community engagement, the Faculty of Tourism and Hotel Management launched the “Student Garden” initiative under the supervision of the Student Activities Department. The initiative aims to transform open spaces within the campus into green gardens, designed and implemented by the students themselves.
Numerous Faculty’s male and female students participated in the initiative, planting various trees and flowers and organizing awareness campaigns to maintain the environment and cleanliness of the Faculty. The initiative aims to instill the values of teamwork, belonging, and environmental responsibility among students, in addition to improving the aesthetic appearance of the Faculty’s surroundings.
The Faculty administration praised the efforts of the participating students, confirming its continued support for such initiatives that contribute to developing environmental awareness and fostering a spirit of cooperation among university students.
