1. Postdoctoral Opportunity in Shenzhen – the stunning southern city adjacent to Hong Kong – with an exceptional salary

Required Qualifications:

1. Holding a PhD degree (or near completion) from a reputable local or international university, with a specialization in one of the following fields:
   Biological Sciences, Medicine, Pharmacy, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science and Electronics, Materials Science and Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or other related technical disciplines.
2. Under 35 years old, in excellent physical and mental health, with outstanding academic performance.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Postdoctoral fellows may apply for a living allowance from the Shenzhen government of 360,000 CNY over two years.
• Guangdong Postdoctoral Foreign Talent Program:
  • In-station allowance: 600,000 CNY over two years.
  • Post-station housing allowance (if residing in Guangdong): 400,000 CNY over three years.
  • Total: 1,000,000 CNY
    Note: the in-station allowance cannot be combined with the Shenzhen allowance.
• Outstanding fellows may qualify for the Fengji Postdoctoral Fellowship:
  • Years 1–2: 100,000 CNY per year
  • Years 3–4: 360,000 CNY per year

Research Funding Support:

Shenzhen Bay Laboratory provides comprehensive support in applying for major research grants, such as the:

• National Postdoctoral Innovative Talent Support Program: 560,000 CNY over two years + 80,000 CNY research funding
