In a heartfelt Ramadan initiative, PUA’s Faculty of Physical Therapy distributed food packages to its staff members, fostering community solidarity under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Mohamed Etman, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Amir Nazeh, Dean of the Faculty. The event saw active participation from students, faculty members, and the NGO Life Makers.

The initiative aimed to ease financial burdens for families during the holy month, strengthen values of social solidarity within the university community, and engage students in meaningful volunteer work.

Each package contained essential items such as rice, sugar, oil, and other staples. Prof. Etman stated, “This effort embodies our university’s commitment to serving society and supporting vulnerable groups,” while Prof. Dr. Nazeh praised “the collaborative spirit between students and staff that made this initiative a success.”

Dr. Rania Hassan, the event’s coordinator, emphasized that “such activities are part of an ongoing strategy to nurture compassion and unity on campus,” thanking all volunteers and partners for their dedication.
