In a step reflecting strong academic beginnings, PUA’s Faculty of Arts and Design inaugurated a distinguished exhibition for the “Interior Design (1)” course, supervised by the Student Activities Department. The exhibition was inaugurated by Prof. Dr. Maha Darwish, Dean of the Faculty, amidst an atmosphere celebrating the creativity of first-level students. Their projects demonstrated a deep understanding of space distribution, architectural proportions, and the harmony of materials and colors, setting them on the right path toward professional mastery.
The exhibition featured a variety of design boards and physical models (Maquettes) showcasing innovative solutions for residential space design, with a focus on balancing aesthetic value and functional utility. During her tour, the Dean praised the technical quality of the works, emphasizing that such events aim not only to display results but to refine students’ presentation and innovation skills and boost their confidence in pitching ideas to an academic audience. She also commended the faculty members’ efforts in mentoring students, ensuring the preparation of cadres capable of competing strongly in the interior design market.
