In a display of fruitful academic collaboration between PUA’s Faculty of Financial and Administrative Sciences and Technological University Dublin in Ireland (TU Dublin), a faculty delegation participated in the “Ireland – Egypt” festival. The festival was held to mark 50 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Arab Republic of Egypt and the Republic of Ireland.
The participation came at the invitation of the Embassy of Ireland in Cairo, which organized the event to celebrate the bonds of friendship between the two countries. The festival featured a rich array of cultural and artistic activities blending Egyptian and Irish heritage, including musical performances, folk dances, and a charity bazaar dedicated to supporting humanitarian initiatives like the Medicine Bank and the Clothes Bank, highlighting the humanitarian dimensions of the festival.
The faculty delegation affirmed that this participation reflects the depth of cultural and educational ties between the two universities, which serves as a strategic partner in delivering innovative educational programs that align with European standards in business and management fields. Delegation members pointed to the event’s significance in strengthening cooperation and understanding between the Egyptian and Irish peoples, underscoring PUA’s commitment to international openness and building bridges of knowledge and culture with various countries worldwide.
