As part of PUA’s comprehensive plan to provide care for students of all categories and enhance its continuous role in this regard, the Faculty of Languages and Translation organized an orientation day. This event highlighted the main objective of establishing the Special Needs Care Center, aiming to introduce students and faculty members to the Center’s role and the comprehensive care it provides for special needs cases.
The event was held under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Mohamed Etman, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, Prof. Dr. Osama Madani, Dean of the Faculty of Languages and Translation, alongside numerous faculty members and students.
During the event, Dr. Leila Helmy, Faculty Coordinator for the Special Needs Care Center, gave a speech reviewing the Center’s role within the Faculty, and the most important activities and services it implements to serve special needs cases. This aligns with PUA’s mission to achieve social integration and provide an inclusive educational and health environment that caters to all groups.
The event also included a presentation demonstrating the Center’s objectives and services, which encompass providing comprehensive care for special needs cases. This event is part of Pharos University’s vision to support community service and environmental development.
