I’m Marwan Nasser, a 21-year-old Computer Engineering student, and I had the incredible opportunity to study at Heilbronn University (HHN) in Germany as an exchange student, supported by the BWS Scholarship. This experience pushed me beyond my comfort zone, helped me grow academically and personally, and allowed me to connect with inspiring people from around the world. It was more than just studying abroad, it was a life-changing adventure.
Continuing on this journey, I worked closely with German engineering students on an Embedded Systems project, where we combined hardware and software to solve real-world engineering challenges. This hands-on experience strengthened my understanding of low-level programming, system design, and teamwork in a highly technical environment. I also had the honor of interacting with respected professors such as Ulrich Strauß and Dr. Claudia Sperrfechter, whose mentorship and academic excellence deeply inspired me. Beyond academics, I traveled across Europe, visiting France and Italy, exploring new cultures and perspectives that expanded my vision far beyond the classroom. From developing embedded solutions in Germany to walking through the streets of Paris and Rome, every part of this journey shaped me into a more skilled, confident, and globally minded engineer ready for what’s next.
