In a ceremony reflecting its deep appreciation for spiritual values and exceptional talent, Pharos University in Alexandria (PUA) honored the participants of the Quran Recitation Competition. This recognition serves as a tribute to the students whose voices resonated with the holy verses, celebrating their mastery of “Tajweed” and melodic recitation.
During the ceremony, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Etman, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, presented certificates of appreciation to students from various faculties across the university. He emphasized that the university’s mission transcends academic excellence to include fostering religious and cultural awareness, aiming to build well-rounded students who take pride in their identity. Furthermore, the Student Activities Department praised the creative caliber of the participants, noting that this competition acts as a vital platform for discovering “golden voices” and encouraging youth to embrace the noble values instilled by the Holy Quran.
