As part of its third environmental campaign named “Green Pharos”, PUA’s Faculty of Financial and Administrative Sciences held a distinguished practical activity within the Business and Society course. The activity aimed to introduce students to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and enhance their ability to link these goals with real-world applications in the business sector.
Dr. Omnia Moharam, Lecturer in the Marketing Department, supervised the activity, in which students were asked to prepare presentations covering five different companies, analyzing the SDGs each company applies. They were also asked to explain how these companies adopt sustainable practices aligned with the global sustainable development agenda.
The activity focused on educating students about the importance of SDGs and their role in the business world, developing research and analytical skills through the study of real corporate policies, and deepening the understanding of the relationship between social responsibility and institutional success. The activity concluded with student presentations and discussions, contributing to the preparation of a generation of leaders aware of the importance of sustainability and social responsibility.
